Each month from June until the end of September there will be three prizes awarded each month for the following:

• Gold Driver of the Month – prize includes the new Navway in-car navigation unit, a $100 UNIGAS fuel voucher and a Sydway directory
• Silver Driver of the Month – prize includes a $200 DVD/Viddeo player, $75 UNIGAS fuel voucher and a Sydway directory
• Bronze Driver the Month – prize includes a $50 UNIGAS fuel voucher and a Sydway directory.

All 12 winners of the monthly awards will be then be interviewed by an independent panel for the following:

• 2007 Taxi Driver of the Year
  – prize value of $10,000

  – $5000 cash
  – $1000 Unigas LPG voucher
  – 4 nights for a family of four at the Travelodge Mirambeena Resort Darwin plus return ecocomy airfares.

• 2007 Taxi Driver of the Year (Two Runners Up)
  – prize values of $1,500 and $750 respectively

In addition to the main award, there are also three other categories:

• WATS Driver of the Year
  – prize value of $1,000
• Country Taxi Driver of the Year
  – prize value of $1,500 plus a trip to Sydney to attend the Taxi Driver of the Year Dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel on 31 October (including payment for downtime and accomodation).
• Operator-nominated Taxi Driver of the Year
  – prize value of $1,000
