NSW taxi council 2006 taxi driver of the year awards

 


On Wednesday, 1 November 2006, the State’s best taxi drivers lined up for the final vote – who would be named the Taxi Driver of the Year?

More than 300 guests gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel for the big announcement by the Minister for Transport, the Hon John Watkins.

…and the winner was

Mr Vijend (VJ) Narayan from Legion Cabs

1st runner up

2nd runner up
Ms Kerri Robinson, Kiama Cabs
