As a regulated industry we are governed by legislation
and supporting regulations that are written, introduced and enforced by the NSW Government. The main legislation is the Passenger Transport Act. Some of the other important regulations that impact on our Industry are:
The Council would also recommend everyone working in the Industry visits Transport NSW's web site and reads and understands all the requirements. If you have any questions you should contact the Department or the NSW Taxi Council.
