A WATS driver drives wheelchair accessible Taxis and specialises in transporting people with disabilities.
To qualify as a WATS driver you must be a regular Taxi driver and then undertake a WATS Training Course. The course covers:

The course runs for two days in metro areas, and is available in the country through open learning and practical assessment.
