Maxi Taxis and Maxi Cabs are the most cost effective service for groups of between 6 and 11 people for special events or as airport shuttles.
Most of these vehicles are also fully equipped to carry two wheelchair passengers, and all drivers have to be fully trained to operate WAT (Wheelchair Accessible Taxi) vehicles.
To qualify as a Maxi/WATS driver you must be a regular Taxi driver and then undertake an additional Training Course.
