The Department of Transport & Infrastructure is using information gathered during ATIS audits to identify taxi operators who have presented vehicles for inspection in an un-roadworthy condition.
Where a record of such behaviour is found, Transport and Infrastructure is using this information to conduct targeted audits to check why the operator’s vehicle maintenance plan is not working.
