No Touting
- BACK TO SYDNEY AIRPORT -

Sydney Airport will be installing No Touting signs to warn the general public to be wary of any drivers who break the law by touting for passengers.

The signs, erected in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, will be similar to those at Melbourne Airport and will encourage passengers to report anyone who approaches them offering a taxi, hire car or shuttle bus service, without using the marked areas.  The signs will be supported by announcements over the PA which will say:

“Attention: If you need a taxi, shuttle bus or limousine, please make your way to the marked areas where you will find licensed service providers.  If you are approached by a driver please do not use these services.  It is against the law for drivers to solicit fares.”

The signage will be installed at Terminal 1 first followed by Terminal 2.
