A representative of the NSW Taxi Council recently attended a NSW T&I scoping study relating to the Hornsby Interchange. The NSW Taxi Council also attended workshops and provided a written report on potential improvements to current rank facilities and future strategies.
Local taxi drivers were consulted and NSW Taxi Council thanks the drivers who provided their input.
Recommendations included that the rank remains at its current location and capacity, pushbike stowage, CCTV for driver safety, driver amenities, way finding signage from the railway station, rank signage, network contact signage, disability access ramps/tactile tiles and improvements to the existing shelter and seating arrangements.
