FOUNDATION TO RAISE MONEY FOR
THE "SICK KIDS APPEAL"
The NSW Taxi Industry is aiming to raise a total of $250,000 for this vital cause!
The campaign runs from 3 May to 30 June, 2026
Port Macquarie Taxi Cabs Take a Lead in Supporting Sick Kids Appeal
A big shout‑out to Port Macquarie Taxi Cabs for the fantastic work they’re doing to support Sick Kids Appeal. Their pink wrapped vehicle featuring the campaign logos is helping raise awareness across the region.
Well done to Steve, Mark, Geoff and the team at Port Macquarie for taking a great lead with this initiative.
How Are You Participating to Support this Great Cause?
NSW Taxi Council CEO, Nick Abrahim and Project Lead, Rhonda Chesterton were joined by Taxi Adept Concierge Staff, Alouisha and Anita at Sydney Airport, activating the "Sick Kids Appeal" decals in Taxis who have chosen to participate.
It was a great opportunity to engage with Drivers and we were so pleased to see the level of enthusiasm and energy from Drivers wanting to get behind this great cause and show their support.
Here's How You Can Get Involved:
👉 Contact your Taxi Network and ask if they have registered and set up a "Fundraising Page" dedicated to your Network.
If they have not registered, ask the Taxi Network to set up a dedicated TSP Fund Raising page (Create an Account):
The page tracks every dollar raised and makes it easy for passengers, friends and family to donate.
👉 If the Network has registered, ask them about you can access the fund raising materials, including decals and head rest hangers they would have received via email.
Your Network will need to arrange to have the QR code material printed and supplied to you to display inside the Taxi.
📢 REMINDER: Kindly ask passengers if they would like to make a donation by scanning the QR code.
👉 If you are an Operator and interested in making your Taxi a moving fundraiser, please contact the NSW Taxi Council via email at communications@nswtaxi.org.au after speaking with your Taxi Service Provider.
