It was such an honourable moment for the NSW Taxi Council and our Members to have had the privilege of transporting our Veterans to participate in the Anzac Day March on Saturday 25th April, 2026.
Taxi Drivers picked up Veterans from a variety of locations across Sydney and the Central Coast Region, transporting them to the March.
Special mention to NSW Taxi Council Members, 13cabs for their support in coordinating transport for Veterans from the Narrabeen LifeCare Village, also heading in to the March. This involved more than 12 Taxis, participating in the Northern Beaches convoy.
We extend our thanks also to Ingogo Taxis for their contribution to the Narrabeen convoy.
A second convoy was also coordinated from Abercrombie Street, heading to the March area.
A big shout out to representatives of the NSW Police Force for their support and assistance leading the two Taxi convoys to the March form up area.
The Taxis all looked amazing throughout the march, with a noticable increase in the fleet size this year, participating and assisting with transport.
We would also like to acknowledge representatives from RSL NSW for entrusting the NSW Taxi Council, year after year to Lead and Coordinate the Taxis for the March.
We are super grateful for the Taxi Service Providers and Drivers who generously dedicate their time to play their part and support our wonderful Veterans.
We always feel humbled and indebted when a Veteran says to us, “Thank You”. Our response, each and every time, is that we should be thanking them for their service and the sacrifices made.
Lest We Forget
