NSW Taxi Industry Supporting the"Sydney Sick Kids Appeal" How You Can Get Involved

NSW TAXI COUNCIL PARTNERING WITH THE SYDNEY CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS FOUNDATION TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE "SICK KIDS APPEAL" The NSW Taxi Industry is aiming to raise a total of $250,000 for this vital cause! The campaign runs from 3 May to 30 June, 2026 Please read below for information on how Drivers andOperators can participate.

Letter below from the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation CEO, The Hon Kristina Keneally AO, following the Announcement made at the NSW Taxi Industry State Conference, on 23rd March 2026.

Hi All,

What a wonderful few days at the NSW Taxi Industry State Conference. It was genuinely great to connect with so many people across the industry, and we left feeling excited about what we can do together.

We would love to invite Team Taxi, including all Taxi Companies, Drivers, Operators and Suppliers to unite and take part in this year's Sydney Sick Kids Appeal, running from 3 May to 30 June.

The Sydney Sick Kids Appeal is Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation's flagship fundraising campaign, built around a simple truth: when a child is in hospital, they miss the moments that make up childhood. The Appeal calls on the NSW community to help change the future for sick kids and their families. Every dollar raised goes directly to clinical care, life-changing research, and making the hospital experience a little easier for children and the people who love them.

Here's How You Can Get Involved:

👉 Contact your Taxi Network and ask if they have registered and set up a "Fundraising Page" dedicated to your Network.

If they have not registered, ask the Taxi Network to contact the NSW Taxi Council for assistance.

👉 If the Network has registered, ask them about you can access the fund raising materials, including decals and head rest hangers they would have received via email.

Your Network will need to arrange to have the QR code material printed and supplied to you to display inside the Taxi.

👉 If you are an Operator and interested in making your Taxi a moving fundraiser, please contact the NSW Taxi Council via email at communications@nswtaxi.org.au after speaking with your Taxi Service Provider.
