The NSW Taxi Council is delighted to announce that 13cabs has returned as members of the Peak Body Association for the NSW Taxi Industry. This announcement comes following ongoing collaboration and engagement between the NSW Taxi Council and Australia’s largest Taxi Transport Provider, 13cabs, working together with other Members to deliver key programs in the interest of the broader Taxi Industry. This includes the recent rollout of the Taxi Concierge Program at Sydney Airport terminals, led by the NSW Taxi Council and Co-Supported by 13cabs and GM Cabs. NSW Taxi Council Chairman, Geoff Ferris said: “We would like to welcome 13cabs back as members of the NSW Taxi Council. This will help strengthen the coverage and representation of the NSW Taxi Council and we look forward to the future of an enlarged member base.” NSW Taxi Council CEO, Nick Abrahim said: “The NSW Taxi Council is excited to welcome back 13cabs as Members of the NSW Taxi Council. This announcement puts not only the Taxi Council, but the broader Taxi Industry in good stead to help shape the future of our Industry and demonstrates the power and value of working together to help deliver great outcomes for all Stakeholders – including Drivers, Operators and Service Providers. Nick added, “With passengers at the heart of everything that we do, this announcement will help deliver positive initiatives and programs that will help bring Passengers back into Taxis, more often.” The 13cabs Membership will help strengthen the existing Membership with Taxis NSW and CTOA, ensuring that focus will continue on supporting all Members across NSW. This strengthening of the NSW Taxi Council will provide an even broader base from which the NSW Taxi Council will provide its advocacy for the NSW Taxi industry across all areas of NSW.
This will help provide greater value across our ecosystem delivering significant benefit to key Industry Partners, Landholders and Government Representatives.
13cabs Chief Operating Officer, Olivia Barry said:
“13cabs are proud to support the NSW Taxi Council and we look forward to continuing the important projects we are currently collaborating on and adding new initiatives to lift the standards across the Taxi Industry and ensure our passengers experience safe, reliable and fair fares for every trip they take in a taxi in NSW.”
We would like to thank the Executive and Team at 13cabs for their support and look forward to working with all stakeholders as we deliver great benefits to the NSW Taxi Industry. |
