Have you planned your next NSW Road Trip yet?

Updated: Apr 29, 2021

The NSW Taxi Council has ongoing engagement with the NSW Government Department of Premier & Cabinet and the Australia Day Council of NSW.

With COVID-19 changing the way we travel, the NSW Government and Australia Day Council of NSW is getting behind regional communities in NSW to encourage people to start planning their visits to amazing destinations across our state when it is COVID-safe to do so.

The NSW Government and the Australia Day Council of NSW have recently launched a "Love an Aussie Road Trip" 10 part series, featuring Adam Spencer - Australia's most loved maths geek, author and comic, exploring Regional NSW, sharing his first ever road trip experience around NSW and unearthing the true Aussie Spirit. The campaign is aimed to support and promote tourism in Regional NSW.

The series takes us through Mudgee, Parkes, Dubbo, Wellington, Gloucester, Port Macquarie and South West Rocks just to name a few of the pitstops.

Each episode tells an inspiring story with Adam embarking on wide-ranging adventures and connecting with various communities around the state, from a French winemaker in Mudgee and a moon-landing hero in Parkes to a long-board surfing legend in South West Rocks.

Please watch the 10 part video series (2-3 minutes each) below -
