NSW Taxi Licence Assistance - Industry Consultation, Live Webinars and Survey by Transport for NSW
Transport for NSW invites you to be a part of the conversation about the Taxi licence reforms. These reforms are in response to the Point to Point Transport Independent Review undertaken in 2020.
As part of these reforms, Transport for NSW is considering a series of arrangements to help Taxi licence holders and businesses stay in the industry and transition to new ways of working as smoothly as possible.

Transitional arrangements live webinar
Join a live webinar on transitional arrangements for Taxi licensing on Wednesday 15 September 2021 (12pm – 1pm) to stay up to date, provide your feedback and ask questions. Click here to Register for the session here.
If you cannot attend the session, information will be available to view on the Transport for NSW website soon after the webinar.
An online survey will also be available from 17 September 2021 to provide your feedback on the transitional arrangements and help inform the final arrangements put forward to the NSW Government.
Further consultations for Taxi licence owners live webinar
Transport for NSW is also seeking feedback on the design of a further financial assistance scheme for owners of ordinary Taxi licences who are considering leaving the industry, as well as feedback on how it can design a simple and streamlined application and payment process.
